Priscila Santos Reveals She’s Facing Threats
In an open letter, the Rio de Janeiro-based businesswoman shared her distress:
*“If anything happens to me or my children, know that the culprits are mentioned in this video and in my report filed with the MPRJ (Rio de Janeiro State Public Prosecutor’s Office) and GAECO (Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime).
Earlier this month, I was coerced and threatened. Since I’ve never hidden anything from anyone, I decided to make the situation public so people can understand what it’s like to fight against the Brazilian system, especially in Rio de Janeiro.
This all directly followed my publication of a video about harassment, where I exposed a situation involving me and the former president of Alerj (Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly).
Let me emphasize: if anything happens to me or my children, the names of those responsible are in the video and in my formal complaint to the MPRJ.”*
