Kaz Daughtry is slipping as the deputy mayor of public safety at the NYPD. Kaz not only loves the fame going along with being deputy mayor of public safety and former deputy commissioner of operations in NYPD. He even has his own YouTube channel. Usually, people of power do this so they own the rights to the page later if they retire, so they have a built platform for themselves. There should be a law regarding social media pages in NYPD and other places of business mayors, governors, and more.
Even the public is confused about “Why does Kaz Daughtry have a YouTube page he posts regularly on?” Kaz also even blocked some proud voices on X. He unblocked them shortly after due to some threatening a lawsuit.
But that’s not all. Kaz Daughtry’s YouTube channel is “government-funded,” allegedly. He is using government funds to build an online brand for himself. At this time, he doesn’t have enough subscribers on his page to be monetized, but I’m sure once he does, he will sign up for that and cashing out.
In the latest episode of Sal Greco’s show, he had guest Wilbur Chapman on, and they spoke about this situation in greater detail. Wilbur even spoke about back in the force, they cared deeply about summons and other police work more to ensure they got it right. Now they are being lazy and just showing a video and wishing for the best.
Sal even mentioned this on the show. The videos are highly professional-edited, which sounds like a waste of time and resources to me. He even spilled the tea on his upcoming plans for certain streets in the NYPD, saying “The police will only be there for 61 days.” GREAT! Now the bad guys know how long to wait, WAY TO GO KAZ!
